Rachel Bailey is a contemporary fine artist whose work explores the fierce, vibrant energy that lives within womanhood and motherhood. Classically trained, she obtained a BA (Hons) with the University of Newcastle upon Tyne. A mother to seven, she draws from the depth, complexity and wild beauty of her own lived experience, translating it into portraits that radiate emotion, power and unapologetic femininity.

Her work is known for its bold colour, luminous neon undertones and evocative imagery. Each painting captures the raw emotional landscape of a woman in transformation: tender, wild, resilient and endlessly creative.

Rachel’s art celebrates the coexistence of softness and strength, chaos and beauty, identity and reinvention; especially within the sweeping, transformative journey of raising a large family.

Based in South London, Rachel paints intuitively, guided by colour, emotion and the electric spirit of femininity. Her debut collection, “Neon Motherhood,” is a radiant tribute to the woman who continues to exist, and to rise, beneath the many layers of motherhood.
